Loaded Cheese and Bacon Fries
Indulge as a side dish or enjoy as a meal - the trusty potato never disappoints!
Fry onions in a teaspoon of First Choice Butter, add sundried tomatoes and drizzle honey over it. Stir fry until onions are golden brown and caramelized.
In a small pot, over medium heat, melt the First Choice Butter. Whisk in flour and cook, whisking continuously, until flour is lightly golden 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Slowly pour in the First Choice Milk, whisking out any lumps as they form. Continue to whisk the mixture until it is thick and bubbly, 3 to 4 minutes.
Stir in the First Choice Cheese until smooth, remove from heat and add cayenne, salt, and pepper to taste.
Pour cheese sauce over hot fries. Top with onions and sundried tomatoes, bacon, jalapenos and chives.
